I'm not sure if one ever really "arrives" when on a journey. For me, reaching a destination is just a temporary stop of exploration before finding out what is around the next corner.
As an educator I want to create a sense of flow that is responsive to the dynamic change that is ever present. For me to feel that I have "arrived" would be having a sense that I was able to be responsive to students in an on-line setting, creating learning sequences that not only engaged them but inspired them to extend their learning on their own. How I will measure increased student engagement and inspiration is something that, at this point in time, is quite mysterious. I am hoping that like with other aspects of development in my teaching career, things will become more clearly defined with time.
